About

I kept a blog, “He Not Busy Being Born,” from 2006 to 2010.  Then I stopped. It’s now 2018.  When I started the blog, I was 60, I think, and now I am 72, I know.  That’s a hunk of time and looking again at what I wrote then, I realize now I don’t remember a lot of what happened in those years.  For example, I found in that blog an entry about how I woke up one morning to find a part of a tooth missing.  I don’t remember that at all.

So this blog–the one I am calling “And He Not Busy”-is partly an exercise in remembering. Roughly 8, not uneventful years, have passed since I stopped working on that previous blog.  I want to see what I remember and if I can give some shape to it.  Along those lines, the lines of “form,” I decided to write more of a narrative, to tell more of a story, to start, as it were, more at the beginning (If I can remember it) and go from there. The form of the old blog was however traditional post by the day.  So I started a new blog, and to set up more of a narrative form.

My first page here is static.  It holds the “Index,” and in the index are links to the “Chapters.”  I have only a rough idea, at the moment, of what the chapters might be.  But I will figure that out as I go along, as I remember, and I will give each chapter a vivid title, indicating the material therein.
